    One lovely thing to do in any beautiful city is to discover it by night, savouring the magic transmitted by its lights. With so many breath-taking monuments to behold, the city of Rome illuminated by night is a fantastic experience not to be missed.

    This nocturnal guided tour invites you to explore the streets of the Italian capital by bus and to marvel at some of Rome’s most iconic places of interest.

    During this excursion you will make a stop so that – after walking just a few minutes with your guide – you can see one of the world’s most famous fountains: the Fontana di Trevi. This majestic Baroque fountain has inspired all manner of artists and is a wonderful photo opportunity. You are also invited to throw a coin into the water to find out if it is your destiny to return to Rome.
    After this, your bus will take you to other places of interest in the city: the Roman Forum, the Coliseum and the Circus Maximus are some Rome’s architectural gems illuminated by night, which are not only delightful to contemplate in the moment but are sure to remain with you as magical memories.

    Passing right next to the river Tiber, you will then be driven to the picturesque Trastevere area. Your guide will lead you on a walking tour of this atmospheric neighbourhood – one of Rome’s most bohemian and which has preserved its cobbled medieval streets. The Trastevere district – where St Mary’s Basilica can be found, as well as many traditional restaurants – has a special charm which is sure to delight you.

    • Finishing point: in the centre of Rome (which can be close to your hotel if this is also central)
